YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAM

Putting into practice its mission to “train the next generation of leaders to address the challenges of the 21st Century with sustainable solution-based approaches,” Majority Minority Foundation is launching its first initiative, the Young Leaders Program, for youth in grades 9-12.
The Majority Minority Foundation believes that it is imperative to engage our youth in shaping and building an inclusive and collaborative community to make progress on the pressing issues of our times. In order to do so effectively, young leaders need to be educated, trained and mentored to become the change agents of the future. Majority Minority Foundation’s program aims to ground the next generation of community leaders to carry the mantle of social change and provide them with key leadership, communications, service and advocacy tools and skills needed for a robust future.
The programs and activities are designed to create a dynamic cohort of youth that will fill in the gaps of what is already offered in personal development/leadership, civic engagement and advocacy. They will be able to participate in those activities of interest while receiving experience, information, recognition and community service hours.
